Fire Chief
Beginning my career in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter, I have had the privilege of serving on the Enumclaw Fire Department for over 20 years in a variety of positions. In August of 2015, I was provided the opportunity to lead the organization as the Fire Chief. I feel extremely blessed to serve such a wonderful community and work with some of the best people.
The District’s Mission Statement affirms that we will “Compassionately serve our community with a culture of safety and professionalism”.
Furthermore, Our Vision Statement affirms that we will “Build and maintain a culture of trust while meeting the needs of our growing community through a commitment to: Consistent and Exceptional Customer Service, Transparent Communications, Community Relationships and Fiscal Responsibility”.
Providing consistent and exceptional customer service means we must commit to limiting the impacts of emergencies which requires a rapid response of qualified personnel, in sufficient numbers, with adequate equipment.
The Enumclaw Fire Department is committed to and will continue to proactively respond to changes, solve problems, collaborate on issues, assess community needs, and develop viable solutions. Fire and Emergency Medical Services continue to change and evolve. The dynamic nature of the environments, community demands, staffing issues, and possible unstable economic conditions facing local communities require departments to assume a proactive stance in developing short, medium, and long term organizational goals. We believe it is important to take the initiative to meet future challenges.
As an organization, we stand committed to accepting the challenge of cultivating strategic goals into reality, enhancing the services we offer our residents, and meeting our future vision.
It is truly our pleasure to serve you!
